In a world where the concepts of environmental protection and the fight against global warming are finally starting to impose themselves as top priorities, we would like to make our modest contribution to raising the awareness of the public to the fragile balance which governs our environment.

Haute-Savoie, where we reside, with its highest peak in Europe, glaciers and mountain lakes, is an area where climate changes, if confirmed, will completely change the ecosystem.

We wish to share the beauty of the snowy mountains and these glaciers with a great number of people, but also the beauty of large birds of prey that have lived there for thousands of years and have seen their playing field reduced from year to year. The images of these beautiful landscapes and the eagles which occupy them will contribute, we hope, to raise people’s awareness of our responsibility towards them.

It is not simply a documentary series but a real technical, scientific and educational experience.

Our plan is to teach eagles, born in captivity but which have not been bred to do free flight, fly with their paragliding falconer. The birds have been in captivity for many years and have never experienced the exhilaration of flight at very great heights. What complicates the matter is that if the birds have never flown in such conditions, the falconer has never made any paragliding flights either! It is the story of two partners who will learn to share the air. Learning will be common to the paragliding falconer and the birds and the aim will be to discover the reaction of the birds going back into their natural habitat: will they manage to overcome the turbulences of the air to follow their falconer who will not be their "father" but a simple flight companion without getting lost ?

The vision of the environment such as an eagle has as it flies over its territory, combined with the ease of moving that paragliding provides, will help to take original images where man and animal will no longer be competitors occupying these areas but accomplices to show their beauty.
